Sodexo Meal Pass comes with preloaded benefits that can be used both online and offline while paying for food and grocery shopping.
To unlock meal benefits of Sodexo Meal Pass, the user should first activate the card online or via SMS. It is a 5-year validity card which can be used for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages through Sodexo’s network of registered merchants within India. Sodexo has also partnered with online e-commerce giants like Swiggy, Grofers, BigBasket etc. where Sodexo Meal Card can be used as a mode of payment.
The procedure followed by the connected platforms are as follows:
Swiggy:
Step 1: Select Sodexo Meal Pass as the payment mode
Step 2: Enter card details and secure PIN in the next step
Step 3: Receive an SMS confirming payment

Step 1: Select ‘Pay by Sodexo Meal Card’ as payment mode
Step 2: The delivery boy will arrive with your order and the Sodexo terminal
Step 3: Swipe Sodexo Meal Card to successfully make the payment
BigBasket:
Step 1: Select Sodexo as payment mode
Step 2: At the time of delivery, inform the delivery person that you wish to pay via Sodexo
Step 3: The delivery person will send an SMS and Email on the registered contact details
Step 4: Tap on the link in the SMS or Email to load the Sodexo payment page. (Link will be active for five minutes)
Step 5: Enter name, card number, CVV number and PIN to complete the payment
Sodexo Meal Pass Card is acceptable at select Sodexo-affiliated merchants. The authorized outlets generally have a display of Sodexo Meal / Resto Pass Card logo/sticker and are equipped with a POS terminal for card acceptance. The Meal Card is for electronic use only, a charge slip will be printed electronically from the POS Terminal, post-payment is made.
